Re: iPhoto- Photo Book irregularity with framing Photos imported into Books
I have had a success at making a Photobook and getting it printed, but I ran into a snag.
The photos I put in iPhoto and import into the "frames" for them in the iPhoto Book template are cropped at top and bottom
no matter if I change the size, add space at top and bottom of image or like that.
The iLife '09 Apple Certified book on peach Pit is amazingly superficial on this, 2 [pages on the book publishing aspect.
There is a slider on the frame that allows you to sample a part of the image or select all of ot... but the all of it setting doesn't get but 85% of all of it.
I was sure that "expanding" the canvas in Photoshop and re-importing the photo into iPhoto would solve the problem and the bigger white space around the image would "take up" the "covered over" border part of image, but amazingly didn't.
It reminds me of the Ted Burns zoom glitch with photos moved into iMovie withot going through iPhoto first.
